The World of a Wildlife Photographer

A talk by David Boag

This entertaining lecture spans 35 years of photography and take us to 5 continents. The questions David is most often asked are about his ‘favourites’! What are the pictures you are most pleased with – what is the best place you have visited – which subjects do you most enjoy photographing? Working his way through his commissions over a span of 30 years, he brings us right up to date with his latest and most exciting project.

Membership Information

New Members

We welcome new members and are always pleased for you to visit us at one of our meetings to see if you like the Club and what we do.

The Club meets in the Science and Learning Centre of Marwell Wildlife. Except for the Summer months, we meet twice a month for Competitions, Talks by Visiting Speakers and Members Evenings. There is also a programme of Tutorial/Workshop evenings. The Tutorials are given mostly by members, to share knowledge and expertise.

Throughout the year, in the evenings and at weekends, there are outings and excursions arranged for photographic opportunities. On specified Saturday mornings during the warmer months, Full Members can photograph the animals of Marwell Wildlife in Out-and-About sessions held before the general public arrive.

Full Membership of Marwell Photographic Group costs £16.00 (incl. VAT) per season (from January 1st). All full members are required to hold a Marwell Wildlife Annual Pass, available separately from Marwell Wildlife - If you wish to apply for membership, please download an application form. ch

Associate Membership of Marwell Photographic Group costs £32.00 (incl. VAT) per season (from January 1st). No Marwell Wildlife Annual Pass is required. Associate members are not eligible for the Summer "Out and About" meetings. If you wish to apply for membership, please download an application form. ch

The Photographic Group season lasts from January to December, with subscriptions payable in January. Members joining after the summer "Out and About" meetings are offered a reduced rate for the remainder of the year.
